Inquiry Synopses

When a person contacts the Office of Police Oversight with a question, concern, or suggestion regarding police or law enforcement operations, policies, practices, or training that is not a violation of policy or procedure, the ombudsman glady addresses the Inquiry.  Synopses for all inquiries are available to the public following a review and the resolution of an Inquiry.

If an Appeal is filed with the Office of Police Oversight and, after review of the police department's investigation, it is determined that no further investigation by the ombudsman is necessary, an Appeal Synopsis is issued in leu of an investigative report.

Below, please find links to the Inquiry synopses issued by the Office of Police Oversight.  These reports are categorized by the year the inquiry was closed.
